BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University first-year Head Women's Soccer Coach Jim Wojtkun is proud to announce his inaugural schedule.
Wojtkun and the Yellow Jackets open the 2017 season when they travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to compete in the annual Herb Lauffer Memorial Tournament hosted by Penn State Behrend College on September 1 and 2. BW opens its only tournament of the season against Fredonia State (N.Y.) University on September 1 at 7 p.m. The Yellow Jackets take on the host Lions on September 2 at 7:30 p.m.
BW plays its home opener on September 13 when it hosts a non-conference game against cross-town rival Case Western Reserve University on the Tressel Field inside Finnie Stadium at 7 p.m. The Yellow Jackets also host non-league contests against Defiance College on September 23 and Grove City (Pa.) College on September 26.
BW opens up Ohio Athletic Conference action on September 29 when it travels to Marietta for a 4 p.m. clash against Marietta College. The Yellow Jackets host OAC showdowns against the University of Mount Union on October 4, cross-town rival John Carroll University on October 10, Muskingum University on October 14 and Otterbein University in the annual Seniors' and Parents' Day game on October 21.

The OAC Tournament will begin on October 31 and will conclude on November 5, with the winner of the tournament earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Tournament.
BW finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 12-9-1 and a mark of 5-4 in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals after knocking off the fourth seed in the opening round.
