GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving student-athletes have been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and must have competed in four competitions or finished in the top eight at a conference meet.

Mallory Dondorfer (Mentor), junior stroker
Ellen Fox (Willard), sophomore stroker
Lainey McDaniels (Cuyahoga Falls) and sophomore stroker
Ashley Slife (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf) all earned all-district honors and now advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, which will be announced on April 22, 2025.
Dondorfer, who garners her third career accolade, carries a 3.88 grade point average in early childhood education. This season, she earned four All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as she was the runner-up in the 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley as well as being a member of the runner-up 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay teams. Dondorfer is a 10-time All-OAC performer, three-time OAC Champion and five-time All-OAC relay performer. Out of the pool, she is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma and Kappa Delta Pi honoraries.
Fox, who earns her first career honor, carries a 3.92 grade point average in nursing. This season, she set career-bests in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke. Out of the pool, Fox is a two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar.
McDaniels, who garners her first career accolade, carries 3.96 grade point average in environmental science and Spanish. This season, she set a career-best in the 50-yard freestyle.
McDaniels set her career bests in the 100-butterfly and 100-yard freestyle during her freshman season. Out of the pool, she is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and a Dean's List student.
Slife, who earns her first career honor, carries a 3.92 grade point average in marketing. This season, she set career-bests in the 50-yard backstroke, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle. Out of the pool,
Slife is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and a Dean's List student.
BW finished the 2024-25 campaign with an overall record of 8-2 and a 4-1 mark in the OAC. The Yellow Jackets placed second of six teams at the 2025 OAC Championships.
