LOUIS, Mo. – Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Will Horvath (Oregon/Clay) and senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Region Championships hosted by Washington University inside the Tao Tennis Center.

Horvath/McGee Doubles Results

• Fell to Anthony Markello and Dylan Westmeyer of John Carroll University by a score of 8-6
• Defeated Evan Walther and Corrin Tang of Wheaton (Ill.) by a score of 8-1
• Defeated Samuel Yin and Andrew Spirrison of Trine (Ind.) by a score by a score of 8-7 (7-3)
• Fell to Hudson Mosher and Will Cramer of DePauw (Ind.) by a score of 8-6

Horvath Singles Results

• Fell to Justin Penados of North Central (Ill.) by scores of 6-0 and 6-2
• Defeated Paul Schneider of Hope (Mich.) by a score of 8-7 (7-4)
• Did not advance by walkover due to personal circumstances with Derek Saha of Earlham (Ind.)

McGee Singles Results

• Fell to Ernesto Botero Diaz of Principia (Ill.) by identical scores of 6-1

BW is back in action on Saturday, September 28 when it hosts a pair of non-conference matches against Franciscan University and Penn State University at Behrend on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts at 2 and 6 p.m., respectively.
