Joe Eby has announced the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor schedules.
The indoor campaign opens Dec. 5 at the Youngstown State Icebreaker, followed by the Spartan Alumni Holiday Classic in Cleveland the next day. BW returns to action in late January with the Leo Miller & Hayden Snow Meet of Champions on Jan. 24. The Jackets will host their lone home indoor meet, the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge, on Jan. 30. February includes the Dan Kinsey Invitational, the Jud Logan Light Giver Open, BW's Mid-February Meet, and a trip to Boston University (Mass.) for the David Hemery Valentine Invite. BW closes its indoor regular season at the Ed Finnegan Invitational before competing in the OAC Indoor Championships at Heidelberg University on Feb. 27-28. Postseason opportunities include the Polar Bear and Tufts (Mass.) Final Qualifiers ahead of the NCAA Indoor Championships on Mar. 13-14.
Outdoor competition begins Mar. 27-28 at the Bob Kahn Invitational in Oberlin. April will feature trips to Slippery Rock (Pa.), the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships, and BW's annual home meet, the 56th Sparky Adams Invitational on Apr. 17-18. The team will also compete at the Walsh Tune-Up and Ashland Alumni Open before the OAC Outdoor Championships on Apr. 30-May 1. The Harrison Dillard Twilight, Augustana (Ill.) Midwest Twilight Qualifier, and Mount Union Last Chance meet will precede the NCAA Outdoor Championships on May 21-23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
