HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team swept a pair of non-conference matches against Salve Regina (R.I.) University and Mount St. Mary (N.Y.) College

BW (10-1) defeated Salve Regina (0-3) in a rescheduled match by a final score of 6-1 at the Van Der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club.  The Yellow Jackets then defeated to Mount St. Mary (0-4) by a final score of 6-1on the Cordillo Courts.

• Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) and junior Academic All-OAC Henry Harders (Ottawa Hills) won at first doubles by a score 6-1
• Junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC Will Horvath (Oregon/Clay) and freshman Tyler Fenton (Williamstown, W. Va.) won at second doubles by a score of 6-3
• Junior Jacob Weingart (Tiffin/Columbian) and freshman Vinny Cannata (Aurora) won at third doubles by a score of 6-1
• McGee fell at first singles by scores of 6-3 and 6-1
• Horvath won at second singles by identical scores of 6-1
• Cannata won at third singles by scores of 6-4 and 6-1
• Harders won at fourth singles by scores of 6-0 and 6-1
• Freshman Will Westberry (Niles, Mich./St. Joseph's {Ind.}) won at fifth singles by scores of 6-0 and 6-1

• Junior Gavin Binni (Sylvania/Northview) and Westberry won at first doubles by a score of 6-4
• Senior All-OAC Adam Ziedler (Bay Village/Bay) and senior Academic All-OAC Caleb Reed (Wilmington) won at second doubles by a score of 6-2
• Senior Academic All-OAC Jack Hindman (Avon) and freshman Parker Campbell (Berlin Heights/Edison) won at third doubles by a score of 6-3
• Binni won at first singles by scores of 7-5 and 6-4
• Ziedler won at second singles by scores of 6-0 and 6-3
• Junior Academic All-OAC Joe Donnelly (Lodi/Cloverleaf) won at third singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-4
• Fenton won at fourth singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-0

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Thursday, March 13 when they continue play at the Spring Tennis Fest with a pair of non-conference matches against Alfred (N.Y.) University Van Der Meer Tennis Center at 8 a.m. and Oneota (N.Y.) University at the Hilton Head High School Tennis Courts at 7 p.m.
