BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team dropped a rescheduled Ohio Athletic Conference match to the University of Mount Union by a final score of 6-1 on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.
 
BW (2-12, 0-2 OAC) and Mount Union (5-10, 1-2 OAC) were originally scheduled to play on April 15 but were postponed until today.
 
The Yellow Jackets won one singles match while the Purple Raiders won three doubles, and five singles matches
 
Doubles

• Sophomore Colleen Andersen (Ashtabula/St. John) and Olivia Koutouras (Avon Lake) fell at first doubles by a score of 6-4
• Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference Emma Trost (Norwalk) and sophomore Saraphina Groh (Cuyahoga Falls) fell at second doubles by a score of 6-2
• Junior Gillian Brown (Brunswick) and sophomore Samantha Thielen (Toledo/Sylvania Northview) fell at third doubles by a score of 6-2

Singles

• Andersen fell at first singles by identical scores of 6-2
• Koutouras won at second singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-2
• Groh fell at third singles by scores of 6-3 and 6-1
• Trost fell at fourth singles by scores of 6-4 and 7-5
• Brown fell at fifth singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-0
• Thielen fell at sixth singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-1

BW is back in action on Thursday, April 17 when it hosts an OAC match against Otterbein University at 4:30 p.m.
