WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Senior
Logan Cook (Berea/Berea-Midpark) earned his first career All-Ohio Athletic Conference honor as the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Marietta College at the River Greens Golf Course.
BW was eighth of nine teams with a 54-hole total of 950 on the par-72 and 6,684 River Greens layout. John Carroll University was the champion with an 884.
- Cook, who finished tied for ninth, fired rounds of 76, career-high low tying 72 and 77 for a championship total of 223
- Senior Academic All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) placed tied for 19th as he carded rounds of 82, 76 and 71 for a three-round total of 229
- Sophomore Zach Martin (Poland/Seminary) shot rounds of 88, 76 and 85 for championship total of 249
- Sophomore C.J. Goodrich (Chardon) posted rounds of 79, 82 and 91 for a three-round total of 252
- Freshman Payton Brown (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) shot an 85 in the first round and did not compete in the final two rounds.
