BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's swimming and diving teams closed out the home portion of its schedule as it took on Ohio Northern University in an Ohio Athletic Conference and Seniors' Day meet in the BW Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
The BW men (4-5, 1-4 OAC) fell to Ohio Northern (6-0, 3-0 OAC) by a final score of 179-59. The Yellow Jacket women (7-2, 3-1 OAC) defeated the Polar Bears (3-3, 2-1 OAC) by a final score of 154-81.

Men's Results
- Individuals
- Szuch won the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:02.40 and was fifth in the 400-yard individual medley in a season-best time of 4:49.61
- Sophomore stroker Danny Murphy (Herndon, Va./South Lakes) finished second in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:07.55 and took fourth in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 23.78
- Junior stroker Michael Gruber III (Sagamore Hills/Nordonia) was the runner-up in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:21.40
- Meyer, who is this week's OAC Swimmer of the Week, finished third in the 1000-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 11:12.44 and was fourth in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 53.15
- Sophomore freestyler Mason Carnahan (Willard) finished third in the 200-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 1:56.58
- Senior All-OAC stroker Tyler Warner (Mexico, N.Y./Mexico Academy) took fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:34.73

- Freshman Malcolm Thompson (Pittsburg, Pa./Mount Lebanon) won the 1-meter and 3-meter with 290.25 and 276.40 points, respectively
- Relays
- The 200-yard medley unit of Szuch, Carnahan, Murphy and Meyer finished in fourth in a time of 1:44.59
- The 200-yard freestyle squad of Gruber, Thompson, junior stroker Alex Cooper (Columbus/Thomas Worthington) and freshman freestyler Xavier Hatfield (North Royalton) took fourth in a time of 1:52.88

- Individuals
- Freshman freestyler Eden Stahlin (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) won the 500-yard in a time of 5:45.17 and the 1000-yard freestyle in a career-best time of 11:49.08
- Upcraft, who is this week's OAC Swimmer of the Week, won the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:28.62
- Sophomore All-OAC stroker Brooke Radcliff (North Canton/Hoover) won the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:16.98
- Junior stroker Abby Marquardt (Pickerington/Central) was the runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:38.46 and the runner-up in the 400-yard individual medley in a career-best time of 5:09.52
- Junior Academic All-OAC stroker Ashley Slife (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf) was the runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:08.70
- Sophomore All-OAC stroker Amelia Wands (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North) was the runner-up in the 50-yard freestyle in a season-best time of 25.35 and the runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 56.86

- Sophomore All-OAC Makenna Mincey (Brunswick/Magnificat) won the 1-meter with a career-best 303.80 points and the 3-meter with a career-best 272.65 points
- Sophomore All-OAC Emmalie Mitzel (Massillon/Jackson) finished second in the 1-meter with a season-best with 265.75 points and second in the 3-meter and 222.70 points
- Relays
- The 200-medley team of freshman stroker Sydney Harbour (North Canton/GlenOak), Marquardt, Radcliffe and Wands won in a time of 1:57.91
- The 200-yard freestyle unit of Radcliff, Slife, sophomore stroker Addie Darding (Columbus/Upper Arlington) and Upcraft won in a time of 1:47.98
BW closes out the regular season when it travels to Cleveland to compete in the Cleveland City Classic hosted by NCAA Division I Cleveland State University in Robert F. Busbey Natatorium at 3 p.m.
