GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team swept Calvin (Mich.) by scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-20 inside Van Noord Arena at Calvin University.

BW (15-8, 3-1 MCVL) won in a three-set thriller. The Yellow Jackets hit .239, while the Knights hit .123. The Brown and Gold had 39 kills versus the 25 from the Knights.

BW Leaders (15-8, 3-1 MCVL)

• Junior right-side hitter Jacob Esteves (Wickliffe/St. Edward) led the Yellow Jackets in kills with 11 and added 11 digs
• Freshman outside hitter Tyler Schunk (Eden, N.Y.) had a team-high two aces while adding nine kills and four digs
• Senior Second-Team All-MCVL middle hitter Colby Whiteside (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) had a team-high five block assists and contributed six kills
• First-year setter Ethan Gundrum (Cincinnati/McNicholas) had a match-high 34 assists while contributing five digs and two block assists
• Junior First-Team All-MCVL outside hitter Daniel Latham (Westerville/Westerville Central) added eight kills and seven digs

Calvin (Mich.) Leaders (16-3, 4-1 MCVL)

• Daniel Rua led the team with seven kills
• Ezekiel Jalan had a team-high 21 assists while contributing seven digs 
• Gavin Barber and Brantley Tiede both added six digs 
• Nick Bultje tied a team-high four block assists and added four digs
