Men’s Golf Finishes Seventh at OAC Championships to Close Out Season

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished in seventh place at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Capital University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW was seventh of eight teams with a 54-hole stroke total of 932 on the par-72 and 6684-yard River Greens layout.   The University of Mount Union and Otterbein University tied for first with 871 strokes. Mount Union claimed the championship in on the second hold of a playoff.
  • Freshman Kevin Ardner (Tiffin/Calvert) tied for 16th place as he fired rounds of career-high tying low round of 72, 79 and a career-high tying low round 72 for a championship total of 223
  • Freshman Anthony Asta (Indian River, Ontario, Canada/St. Peter's) tied for 16th place as he carded rounds of 73, 73 and 77 for a three-round total of 223
  • Freshman Coen Miller (Medina) shot rounds of 84, 81 and 80 for a championship total of 245
  • Freshman Caleb Klatt (Curtice/Genoa) posted rounds of 84, 80 and 84 for a three-round total 248
  • Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference CJ Goodrich (Chardon) tallied rounds of 87, 86 and 77 for a championship total of 250
