BEREA, Ohio – The No. 13 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University baseball team beat Hiram College in a non–conference game in seven innings by a score of 15-2 on the turf of Fisher Field.
The Yellow Jackets got off to a hot start, scoring all 15 of their runs in the first two innings, which marks the ninth time the Brown and Gold have scored at least 15 runs. BW's pitching and defensive play was good enough to see out the rest of the game, improving the Yellow Jackets' record to 18-5 overall and 5-1 in conference play.

Bottom 2nd – Senior right-fielder John Panstares (Westlake/St. Ignatius) scored on a fielder's choice with the RBI going to Escano for run number 11 for the Brown and Gold

Bottom 2nd – Ritlinger-Nirider hit the second grand slam of the afternoon and his second on the season to give BW a 15-0 lead and conclude a 10-run second inning
