Men's Wrestling Announces 2026-27 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring a full slate of tournaments, dual meets and postseason competition.

The Yellow Jackets open the season on Saturday, November 7 with a split squad, competing in a dual match against Wabash College at the Ohio University Duals in Athens, Ohio and the Adrian Invitational in Adrian, Michigan.

BW continues its opening month with the Bob Del Rosa Open at Case Western Reserve University on November 14 before traveling to Mount Union on November 17 at 7:00 p.m. for their first Ohio Athletic Conference dual. The Yellow Jackets will be in action for the first time at home on November 21 to host the BW Invitational.

Following the BW Invitational, the Yellow Jackets travel to the North Central College Invitational on December 12 before competing at the Music City Duals in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 19.

BW opens the 2027 portion of its schedule at the NWCA National Duals on January 8-9 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Yellow Jackets then return to Ohio for duals at Wilmington on January 12 and Case Western Reserve on January 14 before competing at the Tom Jarman Spartan Mat Classic in North Manchester, Indiana, on January 16.

The Yellow Jackets return home on January 23 to host the OAC Quad Meet at Ursprung Gymnasium to face Otterbein, Heidelberg, and Muskingum before traveling to Erie, Pennsylvania to take on DII opponent Gannon on January 29.

BW hosts the 40th John Summa Invitational on February 6 and then close the regular season with a pair of OAC duals, hosting Ohio Northern on February 11 before traveling to John Carroll on February 12. BW concludes its regular-season competition at the JCU Open on February 13.

The postseason begins with the NCAA Division III Region 4 Championships on February 26-27 to see who will earn spots in the NCAA Division III Championships on March 12-13 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The Yellow Jackets are coming off a strong 2025-26 campaign in which BW finished as the runner-up at the NCAA Division III Region 4 Championships, qualified seven wrestlers for the NCAA Division III Championships and finished seventh as a team while four individuals earned All-American honors including a runner-up title from Andrew Supers.
