ACADEMIC MAJOR: Accounting
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Alec Palmer tried to play his second season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016, but an injury forced him to miss the season.
GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Alec played his first season of baseball and received a certificate of participation. He appeared in four varsity games and compiled a 0-0 record with a 0.00 earned run average (ERA) with four strikeouts in six and two-third innings pitched. Opposing batters hit just .095 off of him. BW finished with a school-record 31 victories and a 31-12 record. The Yellow Jackets finished fourth at the OAC Tournament and advanced to their second straight NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.
As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Alec tried to play his second season of baseball, but an injury forced him to miss the season. BW finished 23-20 overall, 13-5 in the OAC and advanced to the 2016 OAC Championship Game.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Alec grew up in Oakdale, Pennsylvania and graduated from West Allegheny High School.
Alec played four years of baseball and earned two varsity letters. He also played two seasons of golf. He helped West Allegheny H.S. win a District title in 2014.
Academically, Alec was a member of the National Honors Society, graduated Summa Cum Laude, received Distinguished Honors, graduated in the Top 10% of his graduating class, was the West Allegheny H.S. Outstanding Math Student as a senior and won a Perfect Attendnace Award.
