ACADEMIC MAJOR:  Sport Management

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Anthony Eder played three seasons of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University. The two-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete earned two varsity letters.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Anthony carries a 3.72 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. He also is a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.

As both a junior in 2013-2014 and senior in 2014-2015, Anthony earned Academic All-OAC honors.

ATHLETICS AWARDS:  As a senior in 2014-2015, Anthony received to the Co-Yellow Jacket Award.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION:  Anthony Eder played three years of baseball at BW after spending his freshman year at NCAA Division II Mercyhurst (Pa.).  He helped the Yellow Jackets to a 88-45 record, including a school-record 31 wins in 2015, with two NCAA Division III Regional Tournament appearances (2014 and 2015) and one NCAA Division III College World Series appearance (2014).

Individually, Anthony played in 30 games and batted .273 (9-for-33) with nine runs scored, one double and eight runs batted-in (RBI). He also had a perfect fielding average (in 22 chances).

As a freshman in 2011-2012, Anthony attended NCAA Division II Mercyhurst (Pa.) University. He played in five varsity games and had one base hit in four at-bats for a .250 batting average. He also had eight fielding chances and did not commit an error. Mercyhurst finished 39-17 overall.

As a sophomore in 2012-2013, Anthony played in his first season of baseball at BW and played on the junior varsity team. He earned a certificate of participation for his efforts. The BW varsity yied the single-season school-record for wins with 27 and finished 27-13 overall.

As a junior in 2013-2014, Anthony played in his second season of baseball at BW and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 14 games as a backup catcher and had two hits, scored three runs, six RBI in 13 plate appearances. He helped BW to win a single-season school-record 30 games, compile a 30-20 record, place second at the OAC Tournament, win the Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament and advance to the school's first-ever Division III College World Series.

As a senior in 2014-2015, Anthony played his third season of baseball at BW and earned his second varsity letter. He has his best season as a collegian and split time as a catcher and key pinch-hitter. Anthony played in 16 games, including two starts, and batted a career-high .350 (7-for-20) with six runs scored, a double and two RBI. He also stole one base in one attempt. BW finished with a school-record 31 victories and a 31-12 record. The Yellow Jackets advanced to their second straight NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Anthony Eder grew up in Valley View, Ohio and graduated from Cuyahoga Heights High School.

Anthony played four years of baseball and lettered three times. Anthony also played football and basketball for four years and earned three varsity letters in each sport. 

In baseball as a senior, Anthony was named as a first-team All-Chagrin Valley Conference player and an honorable mention All-Ohio selection.

As a senior in football, he was named as a first team All-CVC performer and an honorable mention All-Ohio selection.
