ACADEMIC MAJOR: Sport Management
BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Corey Welsh played his first season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. He received a certificate of participation.
GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2014-2015, Corey played his first season of baseball and received a certificate of participation. He split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams. Corey played in 10 varsity games, including one start, and batted .100 (1-for-10) with one run scored and a run batted-in (RBI). BW finished with a school-record 31 victories and a 31-12 record. The Yellow Jackets finished fourth at the OAC Tournament and advanced to their second straight NCAA Division III Regional Tournament.
As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Corey is playing his second season of baseball and hopes to earn his first varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Corey grew up in Brunswick, Ohio and graduated from Brunswick High School.
Corey played four years of baseball and earned three varsity letters. He also played two years of basketball.
Corey earned first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference honors as a senior, and he was a second-team choice as a junior.
