ACADEMIC MAJOR: History
BASEBALL INFORMATION: Cory has had a solid baseball career and helped BW to compile a 101-63 record. For his career, Cory has compiled a record of 2-1 in 22 appearances. Cory has an earned run average of 3.45 with 21 strikeouts in 47 innings pitched.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Cory played in his first season of baseball and pitched on the junior varsity team. He earned a certificatec of participation. BW finished 17-17 overall.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Cory played in his second season of baseball and saw playing time on the junior varsity squad for the second consecutive season. For his efforts, he earned his second certificate of participation.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Cory played his third season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He pitched in four games, all in relief, and had a 1-0 record with a 0.00 earned run average and two strikeouts in eight innings pitched. Opponents batted .250 against him.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Cory played in his four season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter. He pitched in 18 games, along with three starts. Cory pitched 39 innings, struck out 19, walked eight, allowed 18 earned runs, and had a 1-1 overall record. Cory was fourth on the team with a 4.15 earned run average and held his opponents to a .282 batting average. He helped BW to win a single-season school-record 30 games, compile a 30-20 record, win the Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional and advance to the school's first-ever Division III World Series.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Cory Durbin grew up in Canton, Ohio and graduated from GlenOak High School. He played four years of baseball and earned one varsity letter. He also wrestled for four years and earned four letters.
In wrestling as a senior, Cory was an honorable mention All-Federal League and Division I third-team All-Stark County.
In baseball as a senior, Cory had a 1-0 record with a 3.67 ERA.
