BASEBALL INFORMATION: Joshua Murphy played in his first season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014.
As a freshman in 2013-14, Joshua played in his first season of baseball and saw playing time on the junior varsity squad. For his efforts, Joshua earned a Certificate of Participation.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Joshua Murphy grew up in Toledo, Ohio and attended Morrison R. Waite High School. Joshua played four years of baseball, two years of soccer, and one year of golf. In baseball, Joshua was 1st Team All-City and 1st Team All-District.
Academically, Joshua was a member of the National Honors Society, Indian Leadership, Youth Leadership Toledo, TPS Superintendent's Student Leadership, Red Cross Club, US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete, Gold Fan Citizenship and earned the Youth Jefferson Award and the Michigan Award for sportsmanship.
