ACADEMIC MAJOR: Business Administration & Accounting
BASEBALL INFORMATION: Kory helped BW compile a 74-50 record in his three seasons of baseball. For his career, Kory hit .273 (35-128) with 29 runs scored, five doubles, one triple, 18 runs batted-in (RBI) and nine stolen bases. He also had a .973 fielding percentage.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Kory played in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 20 games, including six starts, and hit .190 (4-of-21) with four runs scored, two doubles and two RBI. Kory stole three bases in three attempts and defensivly had a .917 fielding percentage. B-W finished the season 17-17.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Kory played in his second season of baseball and earned his second letter. He played in 23 games, including 16 starts, and batted .294 (15-for-51) with 12 runs scored, two doubles, 10 RBI and two stolen bases. B-W had a single-season school-record 27 wins and a 27-13 record.
As a junior in 2012-2013, Kory did not play baseball due to an injury suffered during football season that required surgery.
As a senior in 2013-2014, Kory played in his third season of baseball and earned his third varsity letter. He appeared in 36 games, including 10 starts in the outfield. Kory had a .286 batting average with 35 hits, 13 runs, one double, and six runs batted in. He also was 6-8 on steal attempts and a .946 fielding percentage. He helped BW to win a single-season school-record 30 games, compile a 30-20 record, win the Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional and advance to the school's first-ever Division III World Series.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Kory Gillissie grew up in Parma, Ohio and graduated from St. Ignatius High School. Kory played four years of football, earning three varsity letters; four years of baseball, earning two varsity letters, and wrestled for one year.
In football as a junior, Kory was named honorable mention All-District and was a starter on the 2008 State Championship football team. Also in baseball during his junior year, Kory was a member of the State Playoff Final Four team that fell just two wins shy of winning a state championship.
