JAKE LIEBLER'S CAREER SYNOPSIS: Jake played four years of tennis and earned four varsity letters. He was a three-year full-time starter and alternated as a starter as a freshman. He helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 75-19 four-year record with a .798 winning percentage and to advance to four straight Ohio Athletic Conference Final Four's. Individually, Jake was both a two-time Academic All-OAC and three-time ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Scholar-Athlete selection. He compiled a 57-26 career singles, 45-17 doubles and 102-43 overall/ combined record. His 57 singles wins rankls 21st in school history.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS: Jake carried a 3.85 undergraduate grade point average and a 3.6 GPA in the One-Year MBA Program. He is both a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. Jake belongs to the Alpha Lambda, Dayton C. Miller and Chi Sigma Alpha academic honoraries.
ITA SCHOLR-ATHLETE HONORS: As a sophomore in 2014-2015, junior in 2015-2016 and senior in 2016-2017, Jake earned ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Scholar-Athlete honors.
ACADEMIC ALL-OAC: As a junior in 2015-2016, Jake earned Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.
THROUGH-THE-YEARS: As a freshman in 2013-2014, Jake played his first season of tennis and earned his first varsity letter. He alternated at both No.6 singles and No.3 doubles. Jake compiled a 7-3 singles record, including a 4-1 mark at No.6. He also had a 6-0 doubles record. BW finished 19-4 overall.
As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Jake played his second season of tennis and earned his second letter. He started at No.4 singles and No.2 doubles. He compiled a 15-12 singles and 14-9 doubles record. Jake earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. BW finished 15-6 overall.
As a junior in 2015-2016, Jake played his third season of tennis and earned his third varsity letter. He started at No.6 singles and alternated at No.2 or No.3 doubles. Jake earned both Academic All-OAC honors at ITA Scholar-Athlete accolades (second straight year). He compiled a 16-8 singles record, including a 12-6 slate at No.6, and had a 6-3 doubles slate. BW finished 24-5 overall.
As a senior in 2016-2017, Jake played his fourth season of tennis and earned his fourth letter. He started at No.5 singles and No.2 doubles. He was an ITA Scholar-Athlete selection for the third straight season. Jake led the team in singles wiins with 19 and had a 19-3 record, including a 14-3 slate at No.5. He had an overall doubles mark of 19-5 and played No.2 with fellow senior Nathan Katz '17. The 19 wins were a team-high as were Jake's 38 toal/ combined wins. BW finished 17-4 overall.
