Jason Klein

Jason Klein enters his first season as a graduate assistant men's volleyball coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2024.

Klein comes to Berea after graduating with a bachelor's degree in business from Carthage (Wisc.) College in May of 2024. While at Carthage, he served as a student assistant coach for two-time National Champion head coach JW Kieckhefer.

Prior to his career at Carthage, Klein began his collegiate career as a setter at St. Xavier (Ill.) University where he was selected as a team captain in his junior year and helped lead the Cougars to three straight NAIA National Championship Tournament appearances from 2020-2023. He appeared in 54 matches and 155 sets, holds the school record for the most assists in a single game with 63, and currently sits at seventh on St. Xavier's all-time assists leaderboard with 717.

Klein played four years and was captain of the freshman and sophomore teams at Oak Park & River Forest High School in Oak Park, Ill. In his junior year, he helped lead the Huskies to a fourth place finish in the 2019 IHSA Boys Volleyball State Championship. Off the court he was selected for the West Suburban Athletic Leadership Conference.

In addition, Klein was also a captain for the 17-1s Serve City club team, and served as both a coach and player for Chicago Sand Volleyball and the 630 Volleyball club team.
