ATHLETIC HONORS: As a senior in 2013-2014, Joe earned third-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference.
BASEBALL INFORMATION: Joe Hiller had an outstanding four-year baseball career at Baldwin Wallace University and helped to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 101-63 record. For his career, he had a .275 batting average, 49 runs, 67 hits, 15 doubles, one triple, one homerun, and 42 runs batted-in. He also was 13-14 on steal attempts and had a .964 fielding percentage.
As a freshman in 2010-2011, Joe played in his first season of baseball and earned a certificate of participation for his efforts. He appeared in three games, starting in one. He had four at-bats and finished the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. B-W posted an overall record of 17-17.
As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Joe played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. Joe appeared in 22 games, starting 13 of them. He hit for an average of .278 (15-of-54) with 13 runs scored, five doubles, and 14 RBI. Joe had an on-base percentage of .414 and stole five bases on the year. He helped B-W win 27 games to go 27-13 on the year.
As a junior in 2012-13, Joe played in his third season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter. He appeared in 24 games, starting 19 of them. Joe batted .288 (19-of-66), with 13 runs scored, four doubles, one triple, one home run, and had 11 RBI. Joe had an on-base percentage of .424 and stole two bases on the year.
As a senior in 2013-14, Joe played in his fourth season of baseball and earned his third varsity letter. Joe appeared in 39 games, including 36 starts behind the plate. He scored 23 runs, had 33 hits, six doubles, 17 runs batted-in, and a .275 batting average. He also had six stolen bases and a .963 fielding percentage. He earned third-team All-OAC honors. He helped BW to win a single-season school-record 30 games, compile a 30-20 record, win the Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional and advance to the school's first-ever Division III World Series.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Joe Hiller grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio abd graduated from Twinsburg High School. Joe played four years of baseball and four years of football and earned three varsity letters in both sports, respectively.
In baseball as a senior, Joe was named as a first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference performer. Statistically, Joe recorded a batting average of .412 his senior year. In football as a senior, Joe was selected as a first-team All-NOC, second-team All-District, and Cable Nine Player-of-the-Year for his outstanding performance on the field.
