Brad Johnson '15 is in his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Baldwin Wallace University Men’s Basketball team in 2025-26 and his second stint at the school.
He was previously a Student Assistant Coach for the Yellow Jackets from 2011-2015, with BW owning a 67-38 (.638 W-L%) during his time in Berea.
Johnson arrives in Berea after a two-year stint as the head coach at Bethany College of NCAA Division III’s Presidents’ Athletic Conference, where his teams won a combined 16 games over the course of two seasons. Before he started at Bethany, they won seven games total in three years dating back to 2020.
Johnson previously held an assistant coaching position at the 2018 National Champions - Nebraska Wesleyan University (2021-2023), and associate head coaching gigs at Seton Hill University (2018-2021), and Frostburg State University (2015-2018).
In addition to his coaching experience at the collegiate level, Johnson was also the head coach and founder of the North Coast Runnin’ Rebels AAU program, where he won six local and regional AAU Tournaments between 2013 and 2016.
The Olmsted Falls, Ohio native earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from BW in 2015, and received his Master’s degree from Frostburg State in 2017.
