Genevieve Duxbury is entering her first season as head coach of the Yellow Jackets' women's wrestling program in 2026-27. She is the second head coach in program history.
Duxbury has coaching experience at the high school, club and collegiate levels. Before joining Baldwin Wallace, she served as the head girls wrestling coach and assistant boys wrestling coach at Orange High School. She also coached with the Ohio National Team, working with athletes at the Fargo National Tournament, and the Ohio Greco Boyz & Girlz Club.
Prior to her time at Orange, Duxbury served as the head girls wrestling coach at Lutheran West High School from 2019 to 2023. She also served as a women's volunteer assistant coach at John Carroll University in 2023, assisting with practices and administrative duties.
Duxbury has been actively involved in the growth of girls' wrestling in Ohio. She worked alongside coaches from across the state and the Wrestle Like a Girl organization to educate coaches, athletes and administrators on the benefits of sanctioning girls' wrestling. These efforts helped lead to the establishment of girls' wrestling as an Ohio High School Athletic Association-sanctioned sport for the 2022-23 academic year.
Her coaching honors include being named the Chagrin Valley Conference Girls Coach of the Year in 2026 and the Greater Cleveland Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association Girls Coach of the Year in 2023. Duxbury holds a USA Wrestling Silver Certification and is SafeSport trained.
Duxbury graduated from Miami University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Business in Accountancy.
