Scott Siler bio

Scott Siler begins his second year overall and first as the Director of Men’s and Women’s Golf at Baldwin Wallace University for the 2025-26 season, making history as the first coach to lead both programs.

In his inaugural season with the men’s team, Siler guided two players to Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors and coached his first All-OAC athlete—an award given to the top 14 finishers at the OAC Championship.

Beyond BW, Siler serves as the Director of Instruction at Always Golf in Westlake, Ohio. He is a PGA Level 1 Associate.

Siler’s professional experience also includes coaching and mentoring over 100 junior golfers across seven age groups as the PGA Junior League coach at Red Tail Golf Club in Avon, Ohio. His teams have achieved notable success, including back-to-back runner-up finishes at the U-17 PGA Junior League Regional Championships and a regional championship appearance in the 13U division. He has also worked as an assistant golf professional at Red Tail Golf Club (2022–2025) and Elyria Country Club (2021–2022), as well as third assistant golf professional at Barrington Golf Club in 2020, where he trained under renowned Top 100 Golf Coach Todd Cassabella. Additionally, Siler has been a certified personal golf coach with GOLFTEC.

He earned an associate degree in Golf Operations and Management from The Golf Academy of America in 2018. A Brunswick High School graduate, Siler was a two-sport athlete, competing in golf and rugby.
