BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin-Wallace College women's soccer team fell to cross-town and Ohio Athletic Conference rival John Carroll University, 1-0, tonight (Tuesday, October 26, 2010) in Berea.   

With the loss, B-W dropped its record to 6-9-4 overall and 1-4-3 in the OAC.  With the victory, John Carroll is now to 9-7-2 overall and 6-2 in the OAC.

The Blue Streaks got the lone goal of the game when Betsy Haigh took the cross from Rachel Grdina and slipped it into the low far post at 15:37 of the first half

Overall, the Yellow Jackets out shot John Carroll, 20-2, and also outcornered the Blue Streaks 7-0

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, October 30 when they host Muskingum University in a men's and women's soccer doubleheader on Seniors' and Parents' Night.  The women's match is slated to start at 4:30 p.m. with the men's match to follow at 7:00 p.m.

The doubleheader between B-W and Muskingum University will be taped and then shown on a delay basis by regional cable network SportsTime Ohio (www.sportstimeohio.com).  The women's game will be shown on October 30 at 9:00 p.m. and again on Monday, November 1 at 5:00 a.m.  The men's game will be aired on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m. and on Monday, Nov. 1 at 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
