BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin-Wallace College women's swimming and diving teams each lost in dual meet competition today (Saturday, November 12, 2011) to visiting Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) College in the B-W Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center. The loss was just the first in four meets for the B-W women.
The W&J women beat the B-W women, 133-95. Despite the loss, the Yellow Jacket women are now 3-1 overall (2-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference).
The B-W women were led by four-time NCAA Division III All-American junior diver Julie Pinter (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) as she won the 1-meter voluntary event with 186.60 points and the 1-meter optional event with 260.05 points. In addition, sophomore Angela Musille (Canton/ GlenOak) won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:10.08.
The Yellow Jacket men and women return to action on Friday, Nov. 18 when they travel to nearby Oberlin to face Oberlin College at 6:30 p.m. Next Saturday, Nov. 19, B-W is at OAC-rival the University of Mount Union for a 4:00 p.m. dual meet.
