Men's Lacrosse Falls to Washington & Lee (Va.)

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team fell to Washington & Lee (Va.) University in a non-conference game by a final score of 12-5 on Wilson Field. 

BW leaders (1-3)

  • Two goals from junior All-OAC attacker Kyler Byerly (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny).
  • Two assists from junior midfielder Olin Ferguson (Tulsa, Okla./Booker T. Washington).
  • 19 saves by junior All-OAC  goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier). 

WLU leaders (2-3)

  • Three goals and one assist by Henry Holliday.
  • Two goals and one assist by Taylor Witherell. 
  • Eight saves by Nick Spagnoletti.  

1st Quarter (5-0 WLU)

  • 10:17  goal by Leif Smith, assisted by Peter Sheehan.
  • 7:51  goal from Holliday, assisted by Fenner Pollock. 
  • 4:20  goal by Holliday.
