BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team was defeated by Penn State University at Behrend in a non-conference match by a final score of 5-2 on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.
BW (0-5) won one doubles match and two singles matches. Penn State Behrend (7-2) won two doubles matches to claim the point as well as four singles matches. This season, the NCAA Division III tennis has adopted a new policy as doubles matches now account for one team point and not three points like in previous years.

- Groh fell at third singles by scores of 2-6, 7-5 (7-5) and 1-0 (10-6)

- Trost won at fifth singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-2
- Thielen won at sixth singles by identical scores of 6-1
The Yellow Jackets are back in action when they host a non-conference match against Earlham (Ind.) College at 2:30 p.m.
