BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team was defeated by crosstown rival John Carroll University by a final score of 1-0 in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup on Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
BW (5-7-3, 0-4 OAC) wanted to give John Carroll (9-3-2, 3-1 OAC) a big farewell as the two teams met for the last time as conference opponents. The Yellow Jacket defense locked down the Blue Streaks for most of the game, but a late goal at the 79' mark would give the team from University Heights the final victory in the classic rivalry.
