UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team was defeated by crosstown rival John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference Matchup by a final score of 3-2 on Mike Moran Court in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.
BW (11-10, 1-3 OAC) dropped their third conference match of the season with a loss to John Carroll (14-5, 3-1 OAC). The Yellow Jackets started off slow, dropping the first set, but bounced back in sets two and three before giving up sets four and five to their crosstown rival.

- Senior All-OAC libero Lauren Gardner (Avon/Saint Joseph's Academy) led the Yellow Jackets with 23 digs
- Senior All-OAC outside hitter Sam Rueda (Aurora, Ill/Metea Valley had a game high of 16 kills
- Junior Academic All-OAC setter Katarina Blazetic (Deland, Fla./Deland) finished with 44 assists and 16 digs
- Senior outside hitter Sydney Simonson hit a team high .348 and totaled 8 kills and 4.5 block assists
- Freshman middle hitter Josie Lynn (Wabash, Ind./Northfield) contributed 1.5 block assists and 11 kills for the
