ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to University of Mount Union in an Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 3-1 inside of Kehres Stadium.
BW Leaders (5-10-2, 0-4-2 OAC)
- Senior defender Ella Barth (Highland / Mayfield) scored the lone goal for the Yellow Jackets at the 17:28 mark of the first half
- Sophomore forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg / Lynchburg-Clay) assisted Barth's goal
Mount Union Leaders (5-9-1, 1-4-1 OAC)
- Sophomore Ella Dinwiddie scored the first goal of the game for MTU (unassisted) at the 13:22 mark of the first half
- Freshman Rylee Hutton scored the second Purple Raider goal at the 16:08 mark of the first half, assisted by senior Jillian Pidgeon
- Hutton scored the final MTU goal and lone goal of the second half at the 56:00 mark, assisted by junior Iva Bruketa

- MTU outshot BW 10-8
- The Yellow Jackets had the most saves with six
- BW won the corner kick battle by a 2-0 margin

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 26 for Seniors' Day in an OAC contest against Marietta College. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.
