MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving team won a pair of a non-conference dual meets against host Allegheny College and Fredonia (N.Y.) University in the Mellon Pool inside the David V. Wise Center Sports Complex.
BW (3-0) defeated Allegheny (4-2) by a final score of 167-121 and Fredonia (1-3) by a final score of 216-62.
Individuals
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference stroker Mallory Dondorfer (Mentor) won the 200-yard butterfly and 200-yard individual medley in times of 2:20.17 and 2:18.69, respectively
- Junior stroker Mallory Upcraft (Oswego, N.Y.) won the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard freestyle in times of 1:05.26 and 2:10.63, respectively
- Freshman stroker Brooke Radcliff (North Canton/Hoover) won the 100-yard backstroke and 200-yard backstroke in times of 1:04.83 and 2:21.50, respectively
- Freshman diver Emmalie Mitzel (Massillon/Jackson) won both 1-meter diving events with total points of 152.95 and 223.35, respectively
- Sophomore All-OAC freestyler Melina Roberts (Westlake) was second in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 5:53.57
- Freshman stoker Amelia Wands (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North), who is this week's OAC Swimmer of the Week, won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 58.95 and took third in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:17.12
- Junior freestyler Emily Kusar (Perry) finished third in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 27.47
- Sophomore stroker Abby Marquardt (Pickerington/Central) finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:49.92
- Freshman stroker Annalise Bolton (Berea/Berea-Midpark) took fourth in the 1000-yard freestyle in a time of 12:30.59
Relays
- The 400-yard individual medley unit of Radcliff, Wands, Dondorfer and Upcraft won in a time of 4:19.82
- The 200-yard freestyle squad of Kusar, Wands, Radcliff and Dondorfer won in a time of 1:46.06
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, November 2 when they host their home opener with a non-conference dual meet against Ohio Wesleyan University in the BW Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 1 p.m.
