No. 1 Trine (Ind.) Takes Control, Downs Men's Basketball

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team fell to No. 1 Trine (Ind.) University in a non-conference game by a final score of 78-49 in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside of the Lou Higgins Center.

BW Leaders (1-2)
  • Sophomore forward AJ Pestello (Cuyahoga Falls / Stow-Munroe Falls) led the way with a team-high 13 points and six rebounds
  • Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Ray Ellington (Westlake) scored nine points and made five rebounds
Trine Leaders (3-0)
  • Senior guard Drew Moore scored a team-high 18 points
  • Sophomore guard Jayce Cusack notched 12 points, six rebounds and two assists
First Half
  • Trine outscored BW 39-22
  • The Thunder had the most rebounds with 22
