BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team defeated La Roche (Pa.) University in a non-conference matchup by a final score of 73-69 in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside of the Lou Higgins Center.
BW Leaders (5-4, 1-2 OAC)
- Junior guard Myles Reynolds (Cleveland / St. Edward) dominated for the Yellow Jackets with 17 points, two assists, two steals and one block
- Sophomore forward Andrew Griffith (Akron / Archbishop Hoban) scored 14 points with one steal
- Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Ray Ellington (Westlake) put up 13 points with five rebounds
La Roche Leaders (3-8)
- Senior guard Joe Starzynski scored a team-high 16 points, with two blocks and two steals
- Sophomore guard Bryce Epps notched 13 points with three assists and five rebounds
- Senior guard Michael Brooks tallied 13 points with two assists and one steal
First Half
- La Roche outscored BW 38-37
- The Yellow Jackets tied La Roche with four three-pointers
