BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert is pleased to announce changes to his coaching staff for the 2024 season.
"I am very excited about the make-up of my staff," commented Hilvert. "We have a staff with a variety of different experiences that will get these young men ready to play week in and week out."
Hilvert, who enters his eighth season at the helm, has designated new position responsibilities and titles for four members of his current staff while also welcoming four new faces to Berea.
Staff Changes
- Matt Brown '12, who served as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach last season, will now serve as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.
- Andrew Cregan '22 & '24, who served as a graduate assistant coach for the past two seasons, will now become the quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator.
- Ethan Nichol, who served as the co-defensive coordinator, special teams coordinator, linebackers coach and academic advisor last season, will now serve as the co-defensive coordinator, special teams coordinator. linebackers coach and academic coordinator.
- Brenton Miller '21 & '24, who served as a graduate assistant coach for the past two seasons, will now become the director of football operations and safeties coach.
New Staff Members
BW opens the 2024 season on Saturday, September 7 when it hosts longtime rival Wittenberg University in the 46th Lee Tressel Shrine Classic on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium at 12 p.m.
