BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team fell to No. 16 Case Western Reserve University in a non-conference game by a final score of 2-0 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.
BW Leaders (4-2)
- Senior goalkeeper Darcy Schoen (Chicago, Ill. / Saint Ignatius College Prep) made nine saves for the Yellow Jackets
- Senior goalkeeper Katie Scott (Lewis Center / Olentangy) saved seven shots in the net
Case Western Reserve Leaders (3-0-1)
- Junior forward Molly Shamah kicked in two unassisted goals, one in the first half (09:54) and one in the second half (53:09)
- Junior forward/midfielder Alexis Sassower made four shots with two on goal

- CWRU outshot BW 19-2

- The Brown and Gold made seven saves
- CWRU won the corner kick battle by a 6-1 margin
- The Spartans outshot the Yellow Jackets 15-2
BW is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 14 for a non-conference road matchup against Waynesburg (Pa.) University. The game is set to begin at 4 p.m. inside of John F. Wiley Stadium.
