BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team tied with Bluffton University by a score of 1-1 in a non-conference game at the Sears Complex.
BW (4-2-2) looked to stay hot against Bluffton (1-2-3) after winning three straight and was on pace to extend their winning streak with a go-ahead goal in the 30th minute. However, the Beavers had other plans scoring just 16 seconds later to tie up the game and walk out of the contest with a draw.
BW Leaders
- Junior midfielder Michael Giganti (Uniontown/Lake) needed only one shot to score the Yellow Jackets' only goal
- Sophomore midfielder Cimi Halilaj (Westlake) took a team-high four shots with three on goal
- Sophomore goalkeeper Seth Warrick (Avon) recorded three saves on four shots on goal
Bluffton Leaders
- Junior midfielder Leonardo Campos took two shots and scored the only goal for the Beavers
- Freshman defender Devin Homan tallied an assist and three shots
- Sophomore goalkeeper Zach Johnson had a game-high nine saves

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 21 when they travel to Wooster for a non-conference matchup against Wooster College at 4 p.m. at Carl Dale Field.
