BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team dropped a highly contested non-conference match to Westminster (Pa.) College by a final score of 4-3 on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.
BW (0-3) won three singles matches. Westminster (4-0) won all three doubles matches and three singles matches. This season, the NCAA Division III tennis has adopted a new policy as doubles matches now account for one team point and not three points like in previous years.

- Andersen won at first singles by scores of 6-2, 6-7 (5-7) and 1-0 (10-5)
- Trost fell at second singles by identical scores of 6-3
- Groh fell at third singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-0
- Koutouras fell at fourth singles by scores of 6-1 and 4-6 and 6-3
- Brown won at fifth singles by scores of 6-3 and 6-2
- Thielen won at sixth singles by scores of 6-7 (4-7), 6-0 and 6-0
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, October 5 when they travel to Grove City, Pennsylvania for a non-conference match against Grove City College on Walters-Zbell Tennis Courts at 1 p.m.
