WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished in fifth place at the rained shortened Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by the Heidelberg University at the River Greens Golf Course.
The OAC Fall Preview was scheduled to be 36 holes but was shortened to 27 holes due to course and rain conditions.
BW was fifth of seven teams with a 27-hole total of 545 strokes on the par-72 and 5,864 yard River Greens layout. The University of Mount Union was the champion with 482 strokes.

- Junior Academic All-OAC Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) finished in 11th place as she fired rounds of 85 and 43 for a two round total of 128
- Senior Academic All-OAC Brooke Newsome (Clyde) carded rounds of 89 and 44 for a two day total of 134
- Freshman Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) shot rounds of 93 and 45 for a two round total of 138
- Junior Marissa Moriconi (Magnolia/Sandy Valley) tallied rounds of 96 and 50 for a two day total of 146
- Freshman Mia Whitt (North Royalton) had rounds of 102 and 60 for a two round total of 162
Individuals
- Senior Chloe Thomas (Norwalk) shot rounds of 102 and 52 for a two day total of 154
- Freshman Jessie Herron (Tiffin/Columbian) tallied rounds of 110 and 51 for a two day total of 161
- Freshman Sabrina Crowley (North Ridgeville/Midview) had rounds of 106 and 55 for a two round total of 161
The Yellow Jackets close out the fall portion of their schedule on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6 when they travel to Willoughby Hills to compete in the John Carroll University Fall Invitational at the Manakiki Golf Course.
