BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to Washington and Jefferson (Pa.) in its home opener by a final score of 6-1 on the Pop Collins.
BW (0-1) won one double match, and one singles matches. Washington and Jefferson (2-0) won two doubles matches and five singles matches. NCAA Division III tennis has adopted a new policy for this season and doubles matches now account for one team point and not three points like in previous years.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 14 when they travel to Steubenville for a non-conference match against Franciscan University on the Belleview Courts at 1 p.m.
