CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The No. 6 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team placed eighth at the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals inside the UNI-Dome.
BW (7-4), who was the fifth seed, open the duals with a 25-12 victory over No. 16 nationally ranked the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. The Yellow Jackets then fell to No. 4 nationally ranked Johnson and Wales (R.I.) University by a final score of 37-9. BW closed out the first day of action as it defeated Loras (Iowa) College by a final score 21-15.
On the second and final day, the Yellow Jackets fell to No. 12 nationally ranked Coe (Iowa) College by a final score of 26-21. BW closed out the duals as it
fell to No. 10 North Central (Ill.) College by a final score of 35-12

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, January 18 when they travel to University Heights to compete in the OAC duals hosted by John Carroll University inside the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center. BW will take on Muskingum University at 3 p.m., the University of Mount Union at 4:30 p.m. and John Carroll at 6 p.m.
