AUGUSTA, Mich. -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished ninth in a field dominated by NCAA Division II programs at the Panther Invitational, hosted by Davenport University at the Stoatin Brae Golf Club.
BW was ninth of nine teams with 648 strokes on the par-71 and 6,666 Stoatin Brae layout. NCAA Division II Lewis (Ill.) University was the champion with 577 strokes
- Freshman Anthony Asta (Indian River, Ontario, Canada/St. Peter's) fired rounds of 75 and 76 for two-round total of 151
- Freshman Kevin Ardner (Tiffin/Calvert) carded rounds of 84 and 81carded for a two-day total of 165
- Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference CJ Goodrich (Chardon) shot rounds of 85 and 81 for two-round total of 166
- Freshman Dom Brenner (Sebring/West Branch) posted rounds of 82 and 85 for a two-round total of 167
- Freshman Coen Miller (Medina) tallied rounds of 85 and 84 two-day total of 169
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Monday, October 13 when they travel to Hudson to compete in the NCAA Division I Kent State University Individual Invitational at the Country Club of Hudson.
