HUDSON, Ohio – Three members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's team competed in the Golden Flash Individual Invitational hosted by NCAA Division I Kent State University, held at the par-72 and 6,825-yard Country Club of Hudson.

CJ Goodrich (Chardon) joined freshmen
Kevin Ardner (Tiffin/Calvert) and
Anthony Asta (Indian River, Ontario, Canada/St. Peter's) in competing against a predominantly Division I field.
The field featured student-athletes from several NCAA Division I programs, including members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Big 10, Big 12 and Mid-American Conference, as part of the 36-hole individual event. The trio was among seven Division III golfers invited to take part, gaining valuable experience against top-level collegiate competition.
- Asta finished tied for 13 of 26 golfers after he fired identical rounds of 74 for a 36-hole total of 148
- Ardner carded identical rounds of 83 for a 36-hole total of 166
- Goodrich shot rounds of 85 and 82 for a 36-hole total of 167
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Sunday and Monday, October 19 and 20 when they host The Cleveland Cup at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Lagrange and the Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley.
