WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer team, led by head coach
Jim Wojtkun, closed the book on their 2025 season with a 1-3 loss to the No. 3 seeded Wilmington College Quakers in the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament on Townsend Field inside Williams Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets allowed two goals in the first half where the Quakers took 16 shots and BW only took three. Senior Academic All-OAC Midfielder
Sydni Mudge (Birch Run, Mich.) scored in the 67th minute to give the Jackets some life. However, a breakaway goal by Quaker midfielder Alex Wilson in the 82nd minute extended the Wilmington lead, effectively putting the match to bed. The Quakers advanced to the semifinals, and the Jackets concluded their 2025 campaign.
BW Leaders
- Mudge led the Yellow Jackets with one goal, which was her only shot of the night.
- Forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg/Lynchburg-Clay), midfielder Elise Papp (Bay Village/Bay), and midfielder Grace Helmke (Manchester, Mich.) all took two shots each.
- Junior Academic All-OAC Goalkeeper Kelly Carver (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville East) recorded nine saves and allowed three goals off of 12 shots on goal.

- MJ Little, Jordan Snyder, and Alex Wilson all recorded one goal each for Wilmington.
- Snyder had five shots on goal to lead the Quakers while recording an assist.
- Wilson led the team with 11 shots taken.

- 8:39 – MJ Little scored the opening goal with an assist by Jordan Snyder to take an early lead
- 35:42 – Snyder netted an unassisted goal in the top right corner past the goalie, Carver
Second Half (Wilmington 3-1)
- 66:51 – Sydni Mudge (Birch Run, Mich.) found the back of the net with an unassisted goal to put the Yellow Jackets on the board
