ASHLAND, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving team fell to NCAA Division II Ashland University in a non-conference dual meet by a final score of 195-48-in the Messerly Natatorium inside the Rybolt Recreation Center.
Individuals
- Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference diver Makenna Mincey (Brunswick/Magnificat) was second in the 1-meter dive and 3-meter dive with 228.15 and 223.20 points, respectively
- Senior All-OAC stroker Mallory Upcraft (Oswego, N.Y.) was the runner-up in the 400-yard individual medley and fourth in the 100-yard butterfly times of 5:09.93 and 1:04.83, respectively
- Sophomore All-OAC stroker Brooke Radcliff (North Canton/Hoover) was third in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:03.92
- Sophomore All-OAC freestyler Amelia Wands (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North) was third in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 25.92
- Freshman stroker Eden Stahlin (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) was third in the 1000-yard freestyle and fifth in the 500-yard freestyle in times of 11:57.37 and 5:55.37, respectively
- Junior stroker Abby Marquardt (Pickerington/Central) took fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke in a time 1:15.51
- Junior Academic All-OAC stroker Ashley Slife (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf) was fourth in the 200-yrad freestyle in a time of 2:09.32
- Sophomore freestyler Addie Darding (Columbus/Upper Arlington) was fourth in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:01.87
Relays
- The 400-yard medley unit of Slife, Marquardt, Radcliff and Wands took third in a time 4:24.55
- The 400-yard freestyle squad of Radcliff, freshman stroker Sydney Harbour (North Canton/Hoover), Stahlin and Upcraft finished third in a time of 4:02.43
BW (4-1) is back in action on Saturday, November 15 when they travel to Alliance for an OAC dual meet against the University of Mount Union in the Hammond Natatorium inside the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex at 1 p.m.
