OMAHA, Neb. – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference defensive back
Colin Kaufmann (Avon) has been named to the 2025 Associated Press (AP) Division III All-America Football Team.
Kaufmann, who earns his first career All-America honor, was selected to the third team.
This season, he tied for second in the OAC with a career-high 10 pass breakups while recording 23 tackles, including one for a loss.
Kaufmann was named the OAC Co- Lee Tressel Most Outstanding Defensive Back Award winner as well being named to the All-OAC first team for the first time in his career. He was also a D3football.com All-Region 4 first team honoree.
In two seasons in Berea,
Kaufmann appeared in 19 games and recorded 45 tackles, including three for a loss, 20 pass breakups, two quarterback sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception that he returned for a touchdown in his very first game.
BW finished the 2025 campaign with an overall record of 8-2 and an OAC slate of 6-2.
