BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's indoor track and field team hosted its second and final home meet of the indoor season, the Mid-February Meet, on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center. The meet was unscored.
The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:
- Sophomore distance runner Amy Burchett (Grove City / Madison Plains) won the 5,000-meter run in a time of 20:51.78
- Sophomore distance runner Abbie George (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria) won the 1,000-meter run in a time of 3:15.15
- Freshman sprinter/hurdler Kenae Moore (Cypress, Texas / Bridgeland) won the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:03.29
- Senior distance runner Jensen Wolfe (Somerset / Sheridan) won the 3,000-meter run in a time of 12:09.04
Field event highlights:
- Freshman jumper Lucy McChesney-Betler (Greensburg, Pa. / Salem) won the pole vault with a distance of 3.15 meters
- Freshman jumper Morgan Riley (Bay Village / St. Joseph Academy) finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.00 meters
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 15 as they travel to Westerville, Ohio for the All-Ohio Indoor Championships (hosted by Otterbein University).
