BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team defeated Rhodes (Tenn.) College in its home opener in a non-conference matchup by a final score of 17-14 on the Tressel Field inside the George Finnie Stadium.

BW (2-1) was led by junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference attack/midfielder Bennet Trout (Pickerington / North) as he dominated with five goals and three assists. The Jackets were also led by junior attack/midfielder Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa. / Seneca Valley) as he notched three goals with one assist.

Rhodes (Tenn.) was led by senior attack Drew Downes as he scored four goals with three ground balls, three caused turnovers and two assists.
