BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer student-athletes senior midfielder
Alan Beaney (Allen, Texas/Lovejoy) and junior midfielder
Owen Reyes (North Olmsted) have been named to the 2024 Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Division III All-Ohio Team.
Beaney earns an All-Ohio third-team selection and
Reyes was named to the Academic All-Ohio second team.
Beaney, the team's Most Valuable Player in 2024, earns a spot on the All-Ohio third team after appearing in and started 18 games in his first season as a Yellow Jacket. He recorded one assist and took 11 shots with five on goal in addition to being the leader of the Brown and Gold defense that allowed only 1.25 goals per game.
Beaney earned his first varsity letter at BW this fall.
Reyes, an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree, earns an Academic All-Ohio second-team selection after appearing in 19 games and made 18 starts for the Brown and Gold this season. He was tied for first on the team with a career-high five goals on a team-leading 44 shots with 23 on goal for a career-high 10 total points. In his career,
Reyes has appeared in 57 games and has made 51 starts scoring 10 goals on 121 shots with 50 shots on goal. He has also added one assist for 21 total points. Academically,
Reyes has earned a 3.812 grade point average as a sport management major and is also a Jacket Scholar.
BW finished the season with a 7-8-5 overall record and a 2-5-2 mark in the OAC.
