BUFFALO, N.Y. - The No. 19 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team swept the Buffalo State Tri-match hosted by Buffalo State (N.Y.) University as it defeated the host Buffalo State by a final score of 3-1 and Houghton (N.Y.) University by a final score of 3-0 in the BSU Sports Arena.

vs. Buffalo State (9-10)

• Senior Academic All-MCVL setter Carson Junker (Massillon/Jackson) tallied a game-high 34 assists and added two aces 
• Sophomore outside hitter Daniel Latham (Westerville/Westerville Central) led the offense with 13 kills and contributed six digs on the defensive side
• Junior Academic All-MCVL libero Aiden Kim (Bothell, Wash./North Creek) tied a team-high seven digs
• Senior All-MCVL middle hitter Reed Fisher (Freedom, Pa./Ambridge Area) finished with five kills, four aces, three blocks, and a dig
• Junior Academic All-MCVL middle hitter Colby Whiteside (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) led the team with six blocks and also had three kills, two aces, and two digs
• Senior All-MCVL outside hitter Ted Hofmeister (Powell/Saint Charles) recorded 12 kills, three assists, and tied a team-high seven digs
• Sophomore Academic All-MCVL right-side hitter Jacob Esteves (Wickliffe/St. Edward) added eight kills for the Brown and Gold

• Sophomore Academic All-MCVL middle hitter Michael Mihalov (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) totaled a career-high in kills with eight, in digs with three, and in blocks with twoSenior All-MCVL right-side hitter Michael Devlin (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) was the game's leader in both kills and digs with 10 and seven, respectively
• Junior setter Evan Herbst (Hamburg, N.Y.) tied a season-high 15 assists while having three digs and one ace
• Senior Academic All-MCVL outside hitter Marquis Kelly (Surprise, Ariz./Willow Canyon) finished with a statlline of eight assists, a game-high four aces, three kills, and three digs
• Freshman right-side hitter Drew Jurcago (Brunswick) recorded a career-best two blocks
• Senior All-MCVL outside hitter Michael Beard (Hilliard/Darby) recorded four kills, three digs, an ace and an assist
• Freshman libero David Abercrombie (Maricopa, Ariz.) added four digs 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 as they travel to Rochester, New York for the Nazareth Invitational hosted by Nazareth (N.Y.) University. On Friday, BW will take on Penn State University-Altoona at 5 p.m. and will close the Invitational on Saturday against No. 6 nationally ranked Juniata (Pa.) College at 11 a.m. and against the host Nazareth at 5 p.m. in Kidera Gymnasium.
